Editorial Policy

Last reviewed November 2, 2026 by C Poly

This editorial policy is the accountability page of the site. It sets out what the site does editorially, what it refuses to do and the standards a reader can hold it to.

How Picks Are Made

Picks on the Hot Anime Girls ranking are made by the editor alone. The AI top six comes from the LuckyLove AI anime catalog and is ranked by the strength of each opening scene, while the fan ranking follows Ranker's community vote with every heroine who is not clearly an adult removed. The working detail is on the methodology page.

Funding

Funding on this site comes without ads or sponsored posts. Funding never decides which characters appear, where they rank or whether a weak spot gets named.

Sponsored content is not accepted. The site does not take sponsored posts, paid placements or guest posts from the services it covers, and any change to that would be announced on this page first.

Corrections and the Correction Log

Confirmed factual corrections are handled openly. When an error is verified, the affected page is edited, its dateModified is updated and a line goes into the log below, while typo fixes and wording polish are not logged.

Correction log:

  • No entries yet. The first substantive correction will appear here with the date, the page and the nature of the change.

Sourcing Standards

Every material claim on the main page traces back to an operator's own page, a law or regulator, a dated community ranking or a reference source. Where a claim rests on my own reading, such as the order of the top six, the page says so instead of dressing it up as data.

Use of AI in the Editorial Process

AI tools are used in research and drafting. Every fact is checked against its primary source before it goes live, and the dates, prices and ages on the site come from those sources rather than from a model.

Adult Content Standards

Only adults appear on this site. AI characters are included only when the operator lists them as fictional and over 18, and series heroines only when they are clearly adults in their stories. The 18+ gate is explained on the age verification page, and the 2257 statement covers federal record-keeping.

Reader Rights

Readers can expect a review date on every page, an author byline linking to the C Poly profile, a correction pathway and a clear statement of how picks are made. The operational side of these promises is on the methodology page, the about page explains who the site is for, and the privacy policy and terms of service cover data and use.

Contacting the Editor

Corrections, disagreements with a specific claim and press questions go to the editor through LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/c-poly-48a089136. Please include the page and the line you mean, so the check is quick.
